Our annual deadline is August 15th for grant proposals for renewing grantees and/or new nonprofits invited to submit. Funding requests should include the following:

1. A cover letter from the organization from a senior officer. If you are a past grantee, please summarize what has been accomplished with the funding provided.


If you are submitting for your first time, please note which Zeldin Family Foundation trustee is your contact and include your organization’s IRS tax exemption letter.

2. A 2-3-page proposal which includes:

  • A brief description of the organization

  • The objectives of the project or program

  • A statement of need and/or project budget

  • The amount requested of the Zeldin Family Foundation

  • Proposed activities and audiences served

  • A brief overview of the outcomes of past programming

Your submission should not exceed four pages. Every complete application will be acknowledged.
